  • Ensure amperage readings on compressor are adequate ​

Heating inspection

  • Run carbon monoxide testing on the system ​
  • Check all safety limits
  • Inspect the heat exchanger visually for cracks and/or pin holes that could potentially cause carbon monoxide seepage
  • Take an amperage reading on indoor fan motor to ensure appropriate levels 
  • Make sure there are no gas leaks in the inside or outside of furnace cabinet
  • Make sure there is no rust on the burner assembly causing irregular flame movement
  • Check the return air to make sure that it is properly sized for the application of your system
  • Check to make sure the evaporator coil is clean for proper airflow and to cut down your utility cost during peak run times
  • Check the calibration of your thermostat
  • Check the static pressure to ensure proper duct sizing

Performance Inspections
